Michigan Business & Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc 

             a/k/a the Michigan BPW Foundation (the foundation).

 

 

Mission Statement  The Michigan BPW Foundation is an organization dedicated to raising funds and providing financial support in the state of Michigan through

  • grants for youth programs that challenge participants to make choices that improve self worth
  • scholarships to individuals seeking to further their education
Programs for youth include Reality Store and University of Life Weekend for Girls
Order your copy of Reality Store and annual updates.
Register for University of Life Weekend for Girls age 10 to 17.  Program is scheduled for June 25-27, 2010 at Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.
 

 

Applications for scholarships and grants are available from this website and are accepted  with funding decisions made annually in March..  

 

Contributions can be accepted from individuals, organizations, corporations or estates.

Contributors may designate any funds as a gift or memorial to an individual or to an organization. (See donation page for information.) 

 

Purpose  . This foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively as: 

  1. A corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501 c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “code”)
  2. A corporation, contributions to which are deductible under section 170c(2) of the Code (References to the Code or sections of the Code shall mean such provisions, or the successor provisions, as such provisions may be amended.)
  3. A nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Michigan pursuant to the provisions of Act 162, Public acts of 1982, as amended, as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation.
